Giving back to our community means many things to DSA! Next month we’re bringing our security expertise and perspective not just to our customers, but to the betterment of our infrastructure security as a whole. DSA Technologies vCISO Michael Reese will be a Judge and Advisor for the Sacramento project Make America Secure Again, an Election System Solution Pitch Event in Sacramento Valley. This competition is designed to bring together the best ideas in our state to provide a secure and resilient electoral process and find bright new minds in the technology industry.
This event is brought to our community by CapitolSEC, whose managing board members are passionate about bringing together information security and privacy experts to have in-depth conversations between those concerned about our nation’s election security. It’s one of the first forums designed to bring forth new ideas and demonstrations of amazing security solutions.
“Elections play a vital role in a free and fair society and are a cornerstone of American democracy… A secure and resilient electoral process is a vital national interest and one of our highest priorities at the Department of Homeland Security.” ~ Department of Homeland Security
Together with other industry thought leaders like City of Sacramento CIO Louis Stewart, CEO of HaneyBiz Mark Haney, and VP of ISSA Sacramento Valley chapter Wendy Curl, DSA Technologies vCISO Michael Reese will consider all aspects of the applicants pitches.
